Yes it's Still February.....

We got dumped on yesterday and this morning....

I estimate at least a foot of the white stuff on the ground. Fortunately, this is a holiday from work and I got to spend it throwing snow.............

Am I the only one that uses a snow roof rake? I hate seeing those ice dams and icicles!

Sandy is still enjoying 80º temps in Florida visiting her father. Why didn't I go??????

I'm reading a lot of your blogs and it seems like the long runs during the winter are getting to a lot of you. I remember training for Spring marathons and it's tough, I'm constantly telling my team the same thing.

If it was easy, everybody would be doing it!

If living in Minnesota were easy everyone would do that too right? Funny that I read 2 blogs in a row about roof rakes!

We got just a dusting of snow. How is it that you guys are getting more snow than us?

The roof rake rocks, BTW!

Everyone in CT bought a roof rake this year. No joke the lines at the hardware store were over 2 hours long and people in the parking lots were offering 100s to the people that came out with their roof rake purchases.

We frequently use the roof rake...I always look forward to the day it goes back into storage.

I have hope that conditions will be more supportive to my long run this weekend. We shall see!

We lucked out - the latest dumping of white stuff seems to have missed us.

I have had it up to HERE with the winter running... blahhhhhhhhh!

Yeah, I've decided if I do another marathon, it's going to be in the fall. Yes, you have to run in hot weather. I can deal with that. This snow is getting old. As you know, I don't mind the cold too much but hate snow. Treadmill tomorrow for me - starting to feel under the weather.

My roof is steep so never had a need for a roof rake.

We watched a Detroit weather report on The Weather Channel last night and I thought of you. The reporter was incensed by SUV drivers who went too fast in the snow. She was funny without meaning to be.
