WTF Wednesday

Where's That Five minutes?????????

That is the question that will be going through runners heads for the 2012 Boston Marathon.

The B.A.A. has lowered the qualifying times for all age groups by 300 seconds!

As a email that I just received said, You better start training harder!

You know they should be honest because they really didn't lower it by 5 minutes you need 10-20 minutes to get registered. Those who just qualify will not get in.

I suppose the field of participants is simply getting too big.

The writing was kinda on the wall about this one. And I don't blame them. Registration closed in 6 hours this year!

it's interesting....they didn't technically lower the times, just made it harder for the slower end of the qualifying times to get registered to actually run boston.

5 minutes isn't changing anything for me. It was too fast before and still too fast. Haha!

Good thing BQ-ing is not something on my "to do" list.
