Okay we all know about getting a new pair of running shoes and the excitement associated with it. You know that new car smell......... Well my excitement was thrashed against the rocks of despair!!!
I know what size and width feels and works best for me.
I know what brand and model works for me.
I even know what color looks the best on me.
So why the f#@k does upgrading to the latest model of a shoe that I have 212 pairs hurt my feet?
Can you believe that 49 of the 52 states has snow??????

Shoe companies CONSTANTLY do that, and when you try to get the older model eventually you cant!! Quite annoying.. I mean if they have a model that sells well why do they keep changing them!!!
I dread the day that they change my beloved shoes. I've been in the same ones forever and NO other shoes work for me. Ever. I feel your pain.
Upgrades, not so much, more like downgrades..
We had a dusting of snow last night, gone by the morning but still warranted a "January winter Storm" blast on the news...yes we freak out in Seattle..
I've noticed the same thing when you are forced to go to the next model. Can't they just go back to changing colors and calling it an update?!
I know what you mean! They changed my old favs so much they were hurting my feet like crazy. My solution: changed shoe brands.
52 states huh? are we counting iraq and afghanistan now? ;)
yes i don't get what "technology" needs to be changed about a shoe every year. reminds me of when a guy tried to sell me a pair of jeans because of it's "butt-enhancing technology" ... jeans have technology?
:( Sorry you have to go through that! I was terrified when Brooks "updated" the Adrenalins this summer, but it worked out ok. Hoping your shoe comes around.
