Why the hell is my diet so F*#ked up?
I'm logging my food intake into Calorie Count and it sucks!
Sodium and Cholesterol too high!
Carbohydrates and Fiber too low!
I'm surprised that I can even walk, let alone run and lift weights.
Most of my bad crap comes from the stuff I eat at work, and I think that I'm doing good until I input it and analyze the nutrients.
It's a new year and I'm suppose to resolve to do things better.
Do you know that cake is an alternative for carbs????
How do you guys keep your eating on the good side?

Honestly I keep eating on my good side because for one I've done tons of research on food and it's scary, also because I'm terrified of getting fat.
Track it (enter online) BEFORE you eat it!
I just started tracking my calories/nutrition about 2 weeks ago and was amazed how badly I was eating! The only way I am ever good about it is if I keep track and have something telling me what the logs should say at the end of every day.
i only had to track for about 2 weeks to know what changes had to happen. from there i just fixed what i was doing wrong and stopped tracking.
Since I seem to be eating nothing but handfulls of almonds and the occasional banana as I run out the door, I'm probably not a good one to make suggestions LOL.
I had suggested to me recently that you take a picture of anything you are about to eat and post it to flckr. Supposedly this makes you think twice about your food choices and usually results in smarter choices...
