Well the heatwave is over, we're back to winter in Michigan!
We're back to wind chills in the single digits.....
We had another unofficial team training today and the wind and cold made it more fun for the participants. Nothing like a brisk wind in your face to get the endorphins going......
So does knowing that you're running in ridiculous weather make you feel tough?
Do you like the ice forming on your clothing from the accumulated sweat?
Have you ever had icicles form on your body?
Oh the joys of running in the High-five state.
Stay warm my friends.............

It may be hot as &*$# here in the summer, but at least the winter is nice. Sorry about the icicles.
We keep having single digit temps in the morning. Brrrrrrr.
I'm running this afternoon at the warmest part of the day and expect temps in the mid twenties. Does it make me feel tough? Not really. but it makes me feel better than sitting one the couch does.
It's not winter in Canada until we have snotcicles hanging off our noses!
How much snow did you guys get down there?? We've got about 6 inches.
I have had icicles form off of my eyebrows and stray hair that was not tucked up in my hat along with beads of ice on my eyelashes when I did a run in Chicago in February a few years ago. It was -9 degrees or something silly like that. However, I was not the only idiot out there running! I did get 12 miles in that morning.
LMAO at Marlene, and yes, she speaks the truth. I'm going to try for that 5K today, despite the temps dropping.
No I do not like seeing ice form on my clothes or my eye lashes for that matter!!!!! IS IT SPRING YET????
yesterday i ran in a tank top and shorts. it was 61 degrees.
