Three Thing Thursday

1) I walked pass a group of physically disabled individuals when I was leaving the gym and for some reason it really hit me hard that I am blessed to be able to run, walk and do the things that I'm able to do.

2) One of my TNT alumni that makes it to the Wednesday track workouts has gone from running 12 minute miles to now running consistent 9 minute miles. Norm even ran a 7:53 mile yesterday! Way to go Norm...........

3) My eating has been horrendous the last couple of days. I've been feeling lethargic during my daytime runs. I know that it's the crappy breakfast that I've been having. I typically eat breakfast at work, but this week has been hectic in the mornings. I'll have to put my steak and eggs in a blender to save time.........

Certainly, I think we all have to be reminded of #1 every once and awhile. I know I tend to take my physical fitness/ability for granted, so it's good to remember that it's a gift, not a burden.

So true on # 1. It doesn't hurt to be reminded how lucky we are now and then.

Must be great seeing your teammates improve so much! You should be down to 6 minute miles by now!

maybe I should put that super short sentence for the men in bold. :) If you enter (and win) then the male prize is a Sugoi shirt.

My eating has been terrible the last 2 weeks. It started while I was traveling for work and I'm now still eating crap. Will stop this weekend!

Thanks for reminding me with #1. True that.

Every day I say thank you to the above for my many blessings...we are truly blessed.

Breakfast is always a conundrum, what to eat that is best for you and what is going to "work'
