Why does the Medical Assistant always ask what you're in for, can't they read my file??????
Why do they make you sit in the exam room with nothing to do but wait, while the doctor is doing whatever????
Why do they have a designated lady to take blood, can't all of them do it??????????
My doctor always ask if anything has changed since the last visit and I always say that I'm slower and my knee hurts after logging more than 30 miles in a week.
I also tell him that I can't lift as much weight as I could three years ago. He laughs and we go on from there.
One thing that caught my attention was he noticed that I had lost some weight and wondered if it was intentional.
I guess I'm at the age when weight-loss is a sign for something?????
Why is it when I have to fast for blood work, I'm the most hungry??????

Your "WHY?" posts always crack me up! At least you didn't say 'Why did he make me bend over and cough?'
I think it's because you know you can't eat. I wanted to knaw my arm off before I got my wisdom teeth out. And I knew I couldn't eat.
I was never so hungry as when I had to fast for a...ahem...a visualization procedure of my GI tract. It was torture!
Love your why's, and I'm so glad that your doctor brought up your weight loss. You have DEFINITELY lost weight my friend, even I've noticed it....look after yourself please.
