WTF; OMG; LOL..........

The title describes this morning's TNT group training.

I knew it was going to be cold but not -9º...... (WTF)

To ensure the safety of everyone, we ran out and back to a warming room at the park. The most any of them ran out was 1 1/2 miles.

It's amazing how negative air temps can take your breath away. It was tough to run at a slow pace! (OMG)

Everyone kept hydrated because they were still losing body fluids even in this weather. It got to the point where everyone had some form of frost on their heads. (LOL)

So now I'm starting to get feeling back in my toes and we're getting more snow. This has been the winter from Hell and we still have February to go.

Sandy mentioned that the high was near 80º in Arizona....... Why didn't I go? Oh yeah, it cost money....

Stay warm everyone, except Jess..........

that may be the first post title I've ever seen with any words.

Yes, it is nice here. Actually, too warm. We are having a pasta dinner tonight out on the patio.

LOL myself!

One of my teammates here in Richmond drew a happy face on the back of my fleece. I sweated through it and the sweat turned to frost. Our gator aid that we left at our water stops turned to slushies. We were all glad to be done. But it was a great day to be alive and healthy. :) Art

Running in that kind of cold can be dangerous since breathing in that cold of air is hard on your lungs, so I'm glad you took teh necessary precautions.

And hey, it's cold here too. It's been the 50s!

Ooooh, now I do feel a little guilty about how comfortable it is here. Well, remember this: We pay dearly in $$$ for the privilege -- they call it the "sunshine tax."

(And, I used to live where it was bitter cold...you're so right; it really can take your breath away!) Go TEAM!
