A weekend in the Windy City celebrating an uncle's 80th birthday with more relatives than I could shake a stick at! Don't ask me why I would shake a stick at anything...... but it did give me some hope and insight as to my family's longevity. Maybe I will be an age-group winner in my golden years...
So my weekend recap is 2 miles ran.............. Many BEvERages consumed.........
I received a message from one of my TNT participants regarding her experience at the Madrid Marathon and she mentioned the 20k of downhill. She also mentioned this being the hilliest marathon she's ever run and she had an incredible time!
So when your coach tells you to tun hills, don't bitch about it!!!!!
I'm still trying to get out of the Clydesdale's division, but all of my massive muscles is keeping my there. Okay, I call it muscle...........

I promise you I'll never bitch about being told to run hills!
hahahah. Now you have me wondering what exactly that expression (shake a stick at) comes from. It doesn't make any sense, so why do people say it?!?!
Great advice Coach. Love those hills (yeah right).
I sort of love running hills! But then I am not originally from the Midwest...
muscles DO weight more than fat anyway. so you're probably right. i have also heard that beer is muscles' fuel of choice, so you should be seeing changes any day now!
We actually had a runner from our clinic at Madrid for TnT! She said it was much hillier than she expected.
