In 2005 they asked me if I would like to coach participants to run endurance events. I was elated and have been doing it since. Now I'm trying to spread the word of running to everyone.

I’m trying to get ready to take the team down to Nashville for the Country Music Marathon & ½ Marathon.
I know that a lot of you in Blogland are trying to get into those skinny jeans or just want to lose a few lbs to enhance your performance.
Well Mother Nature is back to being as unpredictable as the Detroit Tigers. We were graced with a morning snow squall. Even though I’ve run in snow and it’s better than being in the rain, enough already! I am mentally ready for some sunshine and 60º temperatures. I ran out a ½ mile and decided I wasn’t having any fun, so I turned around and went back home. This winter has beaten me down, I surrender. I’m throwing in the towel……..
Yesterday we had our inaugural TNT midweek track workout. I’ve never tried having mid-week group training in the past due to scheduling conflicts but this seemed like the thing to do for my summer team. It’s not like the team wasn’t getting in their miles but a little motivation never hurts.
