The last time the Boston Marathon was run in heat like yesterday was 2004 and I was there cheering for Sandy! I thought it was great spectating weather, the cooler helped too.......
Did the fact that most of the top Americans weren't there put a damper on it for you?
What do you really think of the deferment policy that the BAA announced? So if I spent all that money to get to Boston and then decide to not race and incur all the expenses in 2013?
How long do minimalist shoes last, since they're just like running barefoot?
I love seeing television shows or commercials that use races as part of the theme. Did you see the New Girl episode where she's running a 10k and finishes in the dark?

My merrels dont' show any wear after a year. I'm guessing they will last a very very long time
I'm always a little less interested when the top Americans aren't there. But it's for a good cause....the Olympics....and an American guy did get fourth, right?
i thought it was nice that BAA allowed the option to defer, but yeah, all the travel expense is still blown.
have wondered that about minimalist shoes myself cause i'm sure the shoe companies will tell you to keep buying more.
i was bummed the americans weren't there.
and it's cool BAA let the deferrments happen, even if it sucks for those who want a spot next year.....
