Tuesday's Thoughts

Winning must make everything feel great. You notice the winners of the NYC marathon were still running with flags and celebrating after crossing the finish line but the runners finishing after them were exhausted and doubled over?

Dark at 5:30 PM? Cmon Man!

Great article in Runner's World regarding the number of Blacks involved in endurance running. I always thought it was funny being Black and chasing after White guys! I've been known to yell, "stop him, he's got my wallet'" during a race...........

I remember when November was the start of the off-season..........

Don't forget to pull out all of your illuminated clothing..............

Peace...........

I'm with you on the dark at 5:30 thing. Driving home from work last night it felt like midnight. Not a big fan of turning back the clocks. Also not a big fan of the cold weather that it usually signals. Got my fill of cold living in MN for a few years. Warm is my friend.

Good point on winning - it must take away all the pain. Meanwhile the suckers behind them probably need it most!
