Three Things Thursday...........

1) Tonight is Kick-Off for the 2011 Spring season of Team in training!!!! I get a brand new bunch of runners and walkers to put through their training in the next five months..... I plan to chronicle this journey with more photos and hopefully something special for You-Tube.

2) When running outside of the need to expel gaseous fumes occurs, you just do it. I even will comment on the low-flying ducks, as an excuse for the sound. What's the appropriate procedure on a treadmill in the middle of a room? There isn't a lot of places to spit either.........

3) What do you think of the new logo for another race that I'm involved in? As you can see, it's never too early to start thinking about summer.

Have fun with the new team! Can't wait to hear about your shenanigans!

Snot rockets are more difficult in the gym environment, too.

Fun looking logo! I would love some hot sunshine right now... maybe I shoulg go read those posts from June through October where I constantly complained about heat/sun.

Spring season starts already?

I can't answer your question, I do treadmills.

Love the logo as I said earlier on FB. Would I be recovered in enough time after IMTX? Hmmm....

As far as the fumes on a treadmill, I try to station myself as far away from other treadmill users as possible, in the farthest reaches of the cardio floor space, and where there is not a traffic path. Gas happens, however I know that behind the gas is cause to bail on the treadmill workout and run for the head.

Well...treadmills do squeak sometimes....

Thanks for coaching again.
One more reason to dislike treadmills.

i've heard it referred to as "a lot of frogs out", never as geese, although maybe you have more geese there.

but yes, the gym treadmill is a conundrum. need to set up a fan of some sort to dissipate the air faster...

love the logo!
