I had the opportunity to attend a wedding of a TNT coach and Ultra runner this past weekend.
Boy, can we runners drink!
After talking to a lot of them, I began asking the question, "Why do we continue to workout, run, compete?"
I know I've asked this same question here, but this time it was truly conversational. t was amazing to hear the differences between the younger runners and the older runners.
Why do we look at the driver of a vehicle with a 13.1 or 26.2 bumper sticker it?
Are you wearing gloves to run in yet, if not why am I????
Why don't more races have BEvERages afterward? Told you runners can drink....
Okay, time to get the heck out of Dodge....
Peace

Haven't busted out the gloves for running yet, but I needed them on my bike this morning. it's cold up there!
For the record, I don't have oodles of money... the banks are laughing as I rack up my consumer debt. I never said I was smart....
It's 95 here today. Don't think I'll need gloves for awhile :)
gloves? already?
instead of asking why more races dont' have adult bverages, i'm wondering why so many runners still drink (i don't anymore)
Gloves already Ken? No gloves just yet for me but 5 more degrees and I probably would. Also, I always look at the driver when there is a sticker. My wife and I like to see, is that really his/her car? Haha! We saw the Hanson's van the other day - the guy driving - super skinner - yup, he's a runner. Ha!
GLOVES? Are you effing kidding me? Did someone give Michigan to Iceland and forgot to move it on the map?
Gloves? Still in shorts and tank tops here...
