No, I'm not talking about my running speed or lack there of.....

I'm talking about having blood work done and not being able to eat. Is it just me or is this the time when I could eat a 57 Chevy?

In just the 10 hours require to fast (seven of which I'm sleep), I have cravings for any and everything.

Needless to say being the trooper I am, I got up and ran this morning to once again beat the heat. Of course all I could think about while running was food!

It's amazing how 70º temps feel once again.

Is the heat the headline story for your newscast?

Once again I pulled out my 2002 Runner's World to learn how to run in the summer heat!

Some things never change...................

I'm impressed that you ran on an empty stomach before having blood work done.

LOL about the Runner's World beat the heat stuff. Every year, same old ish.

Now get some food! You're wasting away!

Yeah seriously on the RW article. The one this year gave guidelines so people know when it's too hot to run outside. They seemed kinda conservative. And I'm jealous that you have 70 degrees at any hour of the day. It's 9:30pm here and still 89.

My hubby does that with blood work, too. It's always steak night when he gets blood work done. It's like he has to make up for what was taken.
