1) Happy Canada Day and Fourth of July weekend. Being so close to Canada, it's always funny how much more we know about the country than other parts of the USA. Does the same hold true for the state that border the country to the South of us????
2) Speed-work is funny. It kicks your ass while you're doing it but the recovery makes you think you can continue. There should be a way to remove your brain and re-insert it after the workout. Not only would it be less weight to lug around but you wouldn't be thinking about the pain.....
3) Does July 4th kick off summer for you or are you lucky enough to have started in May or June? We only have a few more weeks according to the calendar and the weather is still trying to figure out what to do. Bring on the heat!
Peace.........

I need to rant and you have given me my platform to do so:
Dear Michigan Weather,
WHAT THE F*CK IS UP?!?!? Can we PLEASE get some consistent beautiful weather before I loose my effing mind and disappear in the night, never to be heard from again. (You'll find me in Florida on a beach somewhere, FYI)
Thanks as I'm sure Spike would appreciate it.

Happy, HAPPY July 4th!!!!
Thanks too for the Canada Day wishes....
Hope you are doing well...I'll be back to blogsville soon, I know you can hardly WAIT!!!
As I've spent most of my years in Southern California and Arizona, I think Mexican traditions have a definite influence here.
Summer REALLY started here about a couple of weeks ago. I miss my Michigan summers.
Happy holiday weekend!
My summer starts in early June (teacher) and once July comes, I sort of feel the spiral of summer coming to a close. It moves way too fast after July 4th. Maybe I should just quit my job and not stress about it, eh? :)
Thanks for your nice comment on my blog. I really don't want to make changes to it like getting a corporate sponser, blogger and I are just not friends and I think I need to switch to something else. But it's been really cool to read everyone's responses!!
Happy Fourth of July weekend - yay!
