Well, I guess it had o happen but my TNT participants are becoming runners. Now when I sat that, I'm referring to the 'anal' runner that can't start until they get a signal on their Garmin or run around the parking lot and additional few laps to get in the exact number of miles!
I added a few more inclines into their run yesterday and it didn't deter them at all. These guys are relentless!
I reminded them of their first group training run adn how far they've come.
We only have a few more weeks before Nashville and Vancouver and the Flying Pig in Cincinnati. Now is when the nerves start to show. I'm constantly telling them to trust in their training and everything will be okay.
This is the time of the season that becomes more challenging.

It is nerve-wracking as you draw close to race, but you're right to tell them to trust in the excellent training you have provided them with.
You must be so proud of your little proteges. Sounds like they are doing great!
Those are some great exciting marathons. How lucky are they having a dedicated coach such as yourself!?
They are like cuddly caterpillars that are finally out of the chrysallis and ready to take off as butterflies, aren't they?
great job getting your group to a 'bunch of runners' :D As I commented in my race report last night, having a clinic instructor/coach that motivates makes all the difference!
They are growing up LOL We're all a little geek garmin!
You're right I am fancy feet ;-)
"Do not resist the taper."
You mean there are people that start running before Garmin catches a signal? And not log every foot of a run? Really?
God luck to your TNTers!
They've done all of the hard work, the race is for FUN!!
Challenging but such an accomplishment.
