Why is it drivers will stop for you when you have a shopping cart but will run you down if you just walking in the parking lot? Is blood easier to get off than a ding from a cart?
Since most of you run thousands of miles a month, what parking spot do you normally take in the lot????
Okay I know when the weather sucks, it's nice to be close to the building but when it's not so bad???
Just asking, people look at me funny when I skip 324 spots to park.

Sometimes I intentionally park far away, but usually I find a middle ground of "easy to park" (aka not between two SUVs) and "don't have to jog a 5k to get back to the car."
When I'm driving, people walking in parking lots make me angry (irrationally), and when I'm walking in a parking lot, people driving make me angry. It's a sad way to exist.
I always park far away! But it's more because I hate dealing with people in tight spaces, and some people are CRAZY when it comes to parking spaces. And what gives with people who take forever to get in their car when they clearly see you are trying to also get into yours? GAH!
It's better for everyone if I'm kept away from masses of people. I also get a sense of entitlement for parking far away. LOL!
I tend to park away from the crowds - people are nuts in parking lots!
I park far away, easy to spot, nice walk to the car
I'm typically not too particular about my parking spot. Don't mind a little walking. When we lived in Minnesota we always hunted for close spots since 10 months out of the year you took your life into your hands ice skating through parking lots.
I will admit, however, to taking great joy in parking obnoxiously close to those double-parked super-nice cars you'll come across now and then. No issue with someone parking a nice car far from other cars, but if you're going to do it you can at least pay attention to the lines and park within them like everyone else. Sometimes I just need to amuse myself.
I just park how I feel that day. Like, today I was all sorts of in a good mood and thought "Hey, I should walk those extra steps!" But if I am grumpy I'm all "Back off beeches! That front spot is mines! GRRRRR!"
Hi.
I agree with Beth...unless it's the dead of winter and I take my life into my hands walking into the store on the ice.
