Why do I forget about stretching and icing when I have a few good runs?
Why can't my easy runs remain 'easy'?
Why does it go from 50º to 80º in a week?
We had a great time at our Tuesday Running club's picnic yesterday. It's always a good time when you get a bunch of runners together with a few BEvERages!!!
I had a chance to speak to one runner that had a streak of over 600 days of consecutive running days. She mentioned something that I'm finding out. If I get my run out of the way in the morning it takes the pressure off and makes for a more enjoyable run. I'm finding my evening runs are getting tough because of a lack of motivation/energy.
Okay, time to get out and run............

600 consecutive days of running? The only way I could swing that is if I ran like one mile each day. Now that I think about it, I can't even swing that. I'm just too lazy.
I never used to be a morning person, but since I started running I've become one. I much prefer running in the morning before work and the rest of the day's activities begin. That way I can veg out in the evening and not feel guilty!
Here is my Wednesday Why...
Why is it still 85 degrees at 11:00 at night here in Houston???
600 consectutive days is quite the streak!
Awesome that you got to chat with another streaker. I think I'd have to get it done in the morning, too.
As for "WHY" number 1... you've asked that one before. :)
evening has always been difficult for me to run unless it was a group thing. Groups making running pleasant for me. Mornings are tough. Always.
Fantastic streak by your 600 runner.
