I Survived............

300 miles of bike riding in three days for the Make-A-Wish foundation...

Day 1 we rode in a constant downpour and only complete 98 miles due to lightning in the area! It was so bad that I wanted to cry and who would have known with the rain?

How many of you go purposely train in the rain? Me either.............

Day 2 119 miles, I had to ride my bike to purchase a few BEvERages!

Day 3 90 miles of HELL! I bonked at the30 mile mark but kept going because my stupid partner didn't want to SAG! Thanks to my fantastic partner we finished the tour on the track of the Michigan International Speedway.

I am sore and tired but it was well worth it!

Crazy!!! That's awesome, Ken! I make a point NOT to bike in the rain - great job seeing it through!!

Good job Ken! I hope you weren't enjoying those beverages while riding though. Next time it rains I will consider going out to train per your advice here.
