Okay this isn't a running why but I keep seeing it and I have to ask.
Why are women walking around in sweatpants and short that display the word 'pink' on their butts but it's in different colors now?
Shouldn't Pink be pink?
Is it a regional thang or do a lot of the younger female runners turn their waistband inside out????
I'm thinking about calling ESPN about that Running Reality show..............

UGH personally I hate that women and little girls walk around with words on their a&$.. And yes I may just be calling Yasso a big fibber.
I dunno - I don't wear words on my bum, nor do I turn the waist band... I'm not hip.
LMAO, I'm still cracking up from your previous post!!
I think its a regional thang....mind you, I don't get out much to see what folks have on under their Down Parka's....
It's not regional, just about all short and/or (dare I say it) skinny younger girls turn over their waist bands... Brooks is even making pants/shorts that can be worn up or turned under! I personally do it to 1. Help hold up my pants, because otherwise I have a plumbers crack, and 2. To keep my pants from dragging on the ground/or my shorts from looking like a have a load of crap in them, because they are made for people with huge butts and they sag... haha! As for the "pink"... I hate that crap!
Yeah, the Pink is not my thing. And the waistband is not regional. It's a staple of (mostly) college-aged girls everywhere.
"Pink" is a sidebrand for Victoria's Secret. It's their casual, sleepwear line. So, it's a logo. Not a statement of color.
...I still do the waistband thing...it's more comfy for me...*hangs head in shame*
Someone already enlightened you on the VS logo, but I dare say I am with you on the confusing message, though the mission is to have you stare at their derriere.
It's not a regional thing but I do think it's an age thing. The younger (high school/middle school) girls roll them as many times as possible to make them as short as possible.
Old grandmas like Marlene don't roll at all.
